It was the original name at the beginning when we were organising the fashion events. Gradually, we expanded and developed the entire platform further, but we kept the name. We are planning re-branding within 1-2 years. Now our focus in on projects we are working on currently. 

SFS took root back in 2019, during fashion designer (CEO and Founder of SFS) Monika Pizur internship at the Czech Centre in Stockholm. Monika proposed the idea of organising a slow and sustainable fashion show, leading to the first Slow Fashion Show in March, 2020.

It was during this show that Monika crossed paths with Alex Levchenko (Co-founder of SFS) and their reunion after the pandemic once again reconnecting with the Czech Centre in 2022, helped organise another show as part of the SFS project, FOCUS: Wear sustainably. Shortly before the SFS22 they met Ebba Aniansson who become active part during the show.

This has planted the seeds of a grander vision - to establish Slow Fashion Show as an international platform and non-profit organisation, officially from April 2023.The third SFS took in March 2024 as 2 day event.

They build the event now only with visuals of talented designers and showcasing their collections, also those days included full schedule of interesting speakers and panel discussions with sustainable and slow background. There was also a marketplace with sustainable fashion, accessories, cosmetic and retail.
