Ebba's Story

I Was Always Drawn To Self-Expression Through Clothing — Though I Never Imagined I’d Work In Fashion. That Changed When I Moved To Berlin In 2017, Where I Discovered A World Of Creative Possibilities Beyond What I Had Known.

Since Then, I’ve Co-Founded Blue Tuesday, A Hemp Streetwear Brand Focused On 100% Natural Oversized T-Shirts And Upcycled Collections. While I’ve Paused Production To Pursue Deeper Research Into Hemp Textiles, My Curiosity Has Only Grown. Through My Bachelor's In Fashion, Culture And Textiles, I Studied The Hemp Textile Supply Chain In India And Now Hope To Continue This Research In My Master's At Some Point.

My Journey Has Led Me To Many Projects — Entrepreneurial Ventures, Research, And Now Slow Fashion Forward, A Podcast That Helps Me Navigate My Anxieties About The Fashion Industry. Conversations With Sandra Make These Challenges Feel Lighter, And Diving Into The Facts Reminds Me That Change Is Happening — Slowly, But Surely. Through The Podcast, I Hope To Create A Space For Open Dialogue, Collective Action, And A Belief That Together, We Can Push Fashion Toward A More Conscious Future.

Sandra's Story

My journey into sustainable fashion didn’t begin in a studio — it started at the breakfast table, where my father taught me about environmental responsibility, conscious choices, and speaking up for a greener future. From picking up litter to saving clothes from friends, (remaking my mother’s thongs so they could fit me), these values became habits long before I knew they’d shape my path.

During my bachelor’s studies, I began to see through the fast fashion system, and that pushed me to try my wings—working with organic cotton in Copenhagen and later with recycled materials in Australia. Since then, I’ve been committed to practical, creative solutions that make sustainability both inspiring and achievable. Along the way, I’ve worked as a sustainable developer, fashion designer/assistant, and now, I’m responsible for sustainability at SFS, alongside various other research and projects.

I want to grow a community that questions, creates, and learns together.

For me, hosting Slow Fashion Forward, along with Ebba, means sharing my thoughts, frustrations, and hopes. Change doesn’t happen alone—we’re in this together.
